This Privacy Policy describes how ClassPick (“the App”) handles information when you use the App on your device.

I. Information We Handle

The App is designed primarily for on-device classroom and team tools. Depending on the features you use, the following information may be processed:

Team and Member Data

Names, tags, and related roster information that you enter or import for teams, check-in, random pick, and grouping features. This information is stored on your device so the App can provide those features.

Activity Records

Check-in sessions, pick history, grouping history, timer settings, and similar records that you create while using the App. These records are kept locally on your device.

Images Used for Import

If you use document scanning or image-based import, images you capture or select may be processed on your device to recognize names. Thumbnail and original image files, when saved, are stored in the App’s sandbox on your device.

Device Permissions

• Camera — used only when you choose document scanning or related capture features.
• Microphone — used only when you use the decibel meter feature to measure ambient sound levels. Audio is processed for level measurement and is not retained as a voice recording for identification.

Basic Technical Information

The App may use limited on-device preferences (such as last-used team selection or module layout) to remember your settings. The App does not require an account to operate its core features.

II. How Information Is Used

Information described above is used only to:

• Provide and maintain App features you choose to use;
• Store and display your teams, members, and activity history on your device;
• Improve stability and usability of the App on your device.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your team or member lists for advertising profiling.

III. Storage and Security

Core roster and history data are stored locally on your device. Image files associated with import, if any, are stored as files in the App sandbox and referenced by relative paths.

You can delete teams, members, history records, and related content within the App. Uninstalling the App removes App sandbox data from the device, subject to your device’s operating system behavior.

IV. Third-Party Services

If the App links to Apple App Store pages or opens web pages (such as this policy) in Safari, those experiences are provided by Apple or the respective website host under their own terms and practices. The App does not upload your roster content to those pages.

V. Protection of Minors

The App may be used in school or group settings. If you enter information about minors, you are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate authority to do so. Do not enter more personal information than needed for classroom or team management.

VI. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be published at this page. Continued use of the App after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
